I recently enjoyed a 29-night stay at PALARM Hostel, located in the vibrant heart of Palermo. My experience offered a juxtaposition of affordability and comfort that is increasingly rare in travel. The hostel was clean, with well-maintained facilities including a shared kitchen and bar/lounge area, ideal for socializing with fellow travelers. The beds, though slightly smaller than expected, came with handy reading lights and power outlets—certainly an asset for anyone documenting their travels, like myself. While I appreciated the friendly reception from the staff, particularly Hachan and his wife, I did encounter some issues with cleanliness, particularly in the communal spaces. The location is strategic, providing easy access to the main train station and nearby shops, making it a practical base for exploration. PALARM Hostel presents itself as a budget-friendly option, though guests should weigh these factors carefully when considering their stay.
