I recently enjoyed a 29-night stay at PALARM Hostel, located in the vibrant heart of Palermo. My experience offered a juxtaposition of affordability and comfort that is increasingly rare in travel. The hostel was clean, with well-maintained facilities including a shared kitchen and bar/lounge area, ideal for socializing with fellow travelers. The beds, though slightly smaller than expected, came with handy reading lights and power outlets-certainly an asset for anyone documenting their travels, like myself. While I appreciated the friendly reception from the staff, particularly Hachan and his wife, I did encounter some issues with cleanliness, particularly in the communal spaces. The location is strategic, providing easy access to the main train station and nearby shops, making it a practical base for exploration. PALARM Hostel presents itself as a budget-friendly option, though guests should weigh these factors carefully when considering their stay.
